Fri 06 October 2023, 10:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Fans attending Sunday’s NFL clash between Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills are asked to take note of the following travel information...

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is highly accessible by public transport:

  • It is served by four stations (Seven Sisters, Tottenham Hale, Northumberland Park and White Hart Lane) providing access to London Overground, London Underground, Greater Anglia services and numerous TfL buses.
  • Free high-capacity shuttle bus services to and from the Piccadilly line at Wood Green station and Great Northern Services at Alexandra Palace station connect the stadium with other stations and services.

There is ample cycle parking around the stadium. Walking routes to and from the stadium to stations and coach parks are all clearly signposted.  Stewards will also be on hand to answer any questions.

Scheduled track closures will affect the Metropolitan line, Piccadilly line, Elizabeth line and parts of the London Overground on Sunday 8 October.

There will be no service between Wembley Park and Amersham, Chesham, Uxbridge and Watford on the Metropolitan Line. There will be no service between South Harrow and Uxbridge on the Piccadilly Line. There will be no service between Liverpool Street and Shenfield, Paddington and Stratford and Paddington and Ealing Broadway on the Elizabeth Line.

Events in London on Sunday 8 October

Stratford station is expected to be particularly busy prior to the Jacksonville Jaguars vs Buffalo Bills game on Sunday 8 October due to a Premier League match kicking off at 2pm at the London Stadium.

Fans using Greater Anglia services via Stratford are advised to plan their journeys to arrive at Northumberland Park before 12pm and avoid changing at Stratford between 12.30-1.30pm.

Travelling from and to Central London

The Victoria line will be very busy between 11.30am-8.30pm with trains running every 2-3 minutes in both directions. If possible, fans are advised to travel from Stratford or Liverpool Street to Northumberland Park station.

Pre-game, eight trains per hour will call at Northumberland Park in both directions. Six from and to Stratford and two from and to Liverpool Street. In addition, Stansted Express trains will operate every 30 minutes. All services will call at Tottenham Hale.

Fans travelling through Stratford station should interchange to Greater Anglia services to Northumberland Park rather than travelling via Liverpool Street for a quicker journey.

Post-game, fans using the Victoria line are advised to use Tottenham Hale rather than Seven Sisters.

Large queues can be expected at Seven Sisters station, so fans are advised to use Tottenham Hale as an alternative to access the Victoria line and Greater Anglia services.

Fans heading for Liverpool Street should use Northumberland Park, with eight trains per hour, four to Liverpool Street and four to Stratford. Stansted Express trains to Liverpool Street will call at Northumberland Park.

White Hart Lane will only be operating four trains per hour pre and post-game in both directions, with queues expected to be lengthy post-game.

Northbound services from Northumberland Park will operate to Cambridge and Hertford East every 30 minutes. Fans are advised to check train times to avoid long wait times and allow for queueing time at the station.
