Club team-mates go head-to-head as England Under-19s draw with Wales

Jamie Donley, Ashley Phillips and Luca Gunter found themselves up against Club colleague Will Andiyapan as England’s youngsters were held to a 1-1 draw by Wales in their European Under-19 Championship qualifier in Montenegro on Saturday.

Forward Jamie, defender Ashley and goalkeeper Luca all started for England, who also drew their opening qualifier 0-0 against Montenegro last week, while defender Will did likewise for Wales.

Centre-back Alfie Dorrington was an unused substitute for England.

Ben Lloyd put Wales in front in the second half before Romain Esse levelled things up with 20 minutes left. Luca had to make some sharp saves as the Young Lions held onto their point.

Ashley, Luca and Will all completed the full match, with Jamie substituted in the 64th minute.
