Alfie Devine's match-winning strike for loan side Port Vale against Mansfield last month has been voted the Carabao Cup's Goal of the Round of 16.
An historic strike as it sent the Vale through to the competition's quarter-finals for the first time in the Staffordshire club's history, the midfielder scoped the award following a vote by fans hosted on the Carabao Cup's official X feed.
Coming in a 1-0 win over the-then unbeaten Mansfield, the England Under-20 international, who spending the campaign on loan at Vale Park, produced the game-winning moment on 50 minutes as he picked up the ball in his own half before marauding through the heart of the Mansfield midfield and unleashing a strike from 30 yards to catch the goalkeeper cold.
Making history for the Valiants, Alfie was also voted the Player of the Round for the Round of 16 clashes.
Port Vale will now host Championship side Middlesbrough on 19 December (kick-off 7.45pm UK) for a place in the competition's last four.
