Harry shortlisted for Premier League's Player of the Season award

As he enjoys one of his most prolific campaigns to date, Harry Kane has been nominated for the Premier League’s EA SPORTS Player of the Season award.

With 27 league goals to his name so far this term, he is enjoying his best season in England 's top-flight since 2017/18 when he registered his record tally of 30 goals.

This season has been another record-breaking one for 'H' as his goals have seen a number of historic milestones tumble.

While he became the first-ever player to hit double figures in terms of headed goals (10) in a Premier League campaign, he also equalled Mohamed Salah's record of scoring in at least 24 different games in a top-flight season. He also moved into second in the competition's all-time top goalscorers earlier this month (210) while he became the first-ever player to score 100 goals both home and away in the Premier League.

Most notably though he became our all-time record goalscorer back in February as he scored his 267th goal for the Club (now 277), while he later also became England's all-time record goalscorer with his 54th goal for his nation against Italy in March (now 55).

This is the fifth time in his career that Harry has been nominated for the accolade having also been shortlisted in 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2020/21. The forward is looking become just our second-ever winner of the award after Gareth Bale in 2012/13.

For the award, Harry is up against Manchester City pair Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland, Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka of Arsenal, Marcus Rashford at Manchester United and our former player Kieran Trippier of Newcastle United.
