Skipp stunner shortlisted for Premier League award

Oliver Skipp’s thunderous strike in our 2-0 Premier League win over Chelsea has been nominated for the Budweiser Goal of the Month for February.
Breaking the deadlock for us in a hotly contested London derby, Oliver showed tenacity and desire to beat the Blues’ Joao Felix to the ball following an under-hit clearance before unleashing a fierce strike that stung the hands of Kepa Arrizabalaga before ricocheting off the underside of the crossbar and in.
His first goal for the Club, his strike is up against Jeffrey Schlupp’s for Crystal Palace at Manchester United, Brennan Johnson’s for Nottingham Forest versus Leeds, Willian’s for Fulham against Nottingham Forest, Nampalys Mendy’s for Leicester against us, Kevin de Bruyne’s for Manchester City at Arsenal, Seamus Coleman’s for Everton against Leeds and Manor Solomon’s for Fulham versus Wolves.
