Godwin Lawson football tournament

We are hosting the Godwin Lawson Tournament, an under-13 football tournament held at the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (73 Hertford Road, EN3 5HA) in memory of local teenager Godwin Lawson, a promising footballer who was fatally stabbed in 2010.

Following his death, Godwin’s mother Yvonne established the Godwin Lawson Foundation to commemorate the life of her son. Our Foundation has worked in partnership with the Godwin Lawson Foundation for several years as part of its ongoing work to educate young people about the consequences of knife crime.

The tournament takes place on Tuesday 4 April between 10am and 4pm.

To find out more and to register for the tournament, please email thf.activities@tottenhamhotspur.com.

Women’s and Girls Festival of Football Tournament

The Foundation’s fortnight of activity ends with a special women and girls festival of football tournament for all ages and abilities on Friday 14 April at N17 Arena.

Between 11am and 2pm, aspiring footballers can come along and impress under the watchful eye of Foundation coaches.
