ePL team reaches 2022/23 quarter-finals - watch them in action in the knockout stages today

Our ePremier League (ePl) team has reached the 2022/23 quarter-finals - and today, you can watch them in action in the knockout stages.

After progressing all the way through the qualifiers and play-off rounds in the winter, our team, made up of Thomas Leese (PS5) and Spencer Ealing (Xbox), battled their way through Saturday's (25 March) group stage, going one step better than last year, to reach today's finals.

With all Clubs battling it out for a place in the knockout rounds, 80 matches were played on Saturday across four groups. We were in Group D and managed a second place finish to set-up a quarter-final tie with Aston Villa.

In what was a mixed bag of results for us in the group, we managed to prevail despite a nervy finish. Debutants Nottingham Forest took the the top spot at a canter, finishing eight points clear after winning six of their eight games. We then managed to pip AFC Bournemouth, Everton and Leicester to the post for the second qualifying place, winning three and drawing two of our eight matches.

Spencer will kick-off today's action as he takes on Aston Villa first at 3.17pm on the Xbox Series X. It will then be Tom's turn, with him in action on the PlayStation 5 from 3.40pm. The aggregates result from both matches will then determine which side will earn a place in the final four.
