Oliver Skipp and Destiny Udogie begin their UEFA Under-21 Finals campaigns with England and Italy respectively today (Thursday 22 June).
Skippy is up first as the Young Lions take on the Czech Republic in their Group C opener at the Adjarabet Arena in Batumi, Georgia, kicking-off at 5pm UK time.
A regular for England across all youth levels, Skippy, who returned from injury to make 31 appearances for us in all competitions last season, played in the last UEFA U21 Finals in France in 2021.
England face Czech Republic, Israel (Sunday, 5pm) and Germany (Wednesday, 5pm) in Group C.
Destiny and Italy take on France in Group D at the Cluj Arena in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, at 7.45pm.
The left-back joined us from Udinese in August, 2022 and was subsequently loaned back to the Serie A side for the 2022/23 season, where he made 34 appearances in Seria A and the Coppa Italia. He first represented Italy's Under-21s in September, 2021.
Italy also face Switzerland (Sunday, 5pm) and Norway (Wednesday, 7.45pm) in Group D.
The top two from each of the four groups progress to the quarter-finals.
