“Pre-season is there to prepare us for what’s ahead,” says Ange. “How can we prepare these guys to make sure that come the first weekend of Premier League football that we’re ready to go?”
Chris adds: “We have to get the squad as fit as possible, that’s the whole objective, that’s the top of the mountain we’re climbing towards at the moment. Ange is very clear, he’s a man of integrity, an honest man, a stable character, clear on what he wants. There is no fluff, no nonsense, whenever he says something, you listen.”
“We joined on the first of July and straight away, set our stall out on we want to try and do with the group,” says Mile. “We’re setting ourselves a high standard and we want to continue to maintain it.”
