Ryan's thanks to supporters

Following confirmation that Ryan Sessegnon had undergone surgery to his left hamstring following an injury sustained in pre-season training, the defender posted the following message to supporters.

Tweeting on his official Twitter feed, our number 19 said:

"Devastated and not really sure what to say right now, but I wanted to come on here and say thank you for all the kind messages I've received.

"Hopefully this provides a light at the end of the tunnel. I feel very hungry and motivated to return stronger than ever and be back doing what I do best, for you guys.

"Thank you, Sess"
