We can confirm that our men’s first team will now take on Singapore Premier League side Lion City Sailors in The Tiger Cup at the Singapore National Stadium on Wednesday 26 July, 7.30pm kick-off (local time), following the withdrawal of AS Roma from the fixture.

The fixture change is due to the Korean leg of Roma’s Asia tour no longer proceeding and the Serie A side now having to reschedule its pre-season plans.

Taking on Singapore’s leading club side in the National Stadium will round off our 2023 Asia-Pacific Tour which will also see us visit Perth, Australia and Bangkok, Thailand, with the Club and its players delivering a series of events to engage its fans, partners and communities alongside three exciting matches.

All tickets purchased for the AS Roma fixture will remain valid for the match against Lion City Sailors. A limited number of tickets for the match are still available via Ticketek Singapore.

Due to the change in fixture, all existing ticket holders are alternatively entitled to request a full refund here by 12pm (Singapore time) on Friday 21 July – we apologise for any disappointment caused by this unforeseen change.

Joan Gamper Trophy: FC Barcelona v Tottenham Hotspur

In an exciting update to our pre-season schedule, we are delighted to confirm that we shall be taking part in the 58th Joan Gamper Trophy match against FC Barcelona on Tuesday 8 August, 8pm kick-off (local time) at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

The Joan Gamper Trophy is Barcelona’s annual showpiece match ahead of the start of the La Liga season, named in honour of the club’s founding member, player and later President.

The 27-time La Liga champions are unbeaten in the fixture since 2012 and this year’s match will be played at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys – scene of the 1992 Summer Olympic Games – where all Barcelona home fixtures will be played during the 2023/24 season, due to renovation works at the Camp Nou.

It will be our first visit to the city since our memorable UEFA Champions League group stage draw at the Camp Nou in December, 2018, which sealed qualification for the knockout stages on our way to that season’s Final.

We also become the first ever English club to compete in the Gamper Trophy twice, having previously taken part in 1986 when it was then a four-team tournament, losing out to PSV Eindhoven on penalties.

Spurs fans are able to purchase tickets in any area of the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys via the FC Barcelona website from 10am (UK time) tomorrow (Thursday 13 July), following the conclusion of an exclusive on-sale window for Barcelona members. All tickets will be issued in the name of the purchaser and ID will be required upon entry to the stadium – further details will be communicated to ticket holders ahead of the fixture.
