Asia-Pacific Tour | Goodbye and thank-you Perth, hello Bangkok!

Fri 21 July 2023, 19:45|Tottenham Hotspur

We waved goodbye to a wonderful week in Perth and touched down in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday evening local time for the second leg of our Asia-Pacific Tour.

After a second day out and about in the community in-between training sessions at the WACA on Thursday, followed by a final session at Perth's iconic cricket ground on Friday morning, the squad took the eight-hour flight from Western Australia to Thailand.

It was a typically warm welcome in Asia with hundreds of fans there to greet us at the airport, and waiting for us at the team's hotel, despite the pouring rain, thunder and lightning in Bangkok.

Ange Postecoglou and the coaching team get straight back down to business on Saturday with a training session in the morning, followed by Open Training in front of our fans at the Rajamangala National Stadium.
