The players were out and about in Singapore on Tuesday, experiencing a taste of local cuisine and culture.
Destiny Udogie, Guglielmo Vicario, Cristian Romero and Yves Bissouma travelled to Arab Street, where they learned how to make Teh Tarik, a traditional tea consumed in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and India. From there, they took a short trip to the famous Gardens by the Bay, located behind Marina Bay Sands Hotel, to meet with local freestylers Terence and Terry - the 'Urban Street Team' - who showcased their skills with a Takraw ball and Chapteh shuttlecock before challenging the players to do the same!
At the same time, Harry Kane, Eric Dier, Alfie Whiteman, Alfie Devine and Josh Keeley took part in an art session regularly run by the Children's Wishing Well, a charity based in Singapore. They created a Batik piece of art based on our famous cockerel. A long-standing charity partner of AIA, our Global Principal Partner, Children's Wishing Well's aim is to provide opportunities for every child to succeed in life, regardless of their backgrounds.
Elsewhere, Ben Davies and Heung-Min Son attended a charity lunch for our Global Principal Partner AIA's ‘Better Lives Fund’ at the nearby Conrad Hotel, raising money for charity.
