Asmita Ale can’t wait for our upcoming game against Manchester United Women at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which kicks off at 12pm on Sunday, 12 February.

Tickets for the match are available here.

“I’m really excited for it,” she told us on Thursday morning. “Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the best stadium I’ve ever played at.

“United are obviously tough opposition so it will be interesting to see how that goes. I think we’ll all be up for it and it’s been a long time coming, so it just puts more emphasis on it. Hopefully a lot of fans will come and give us a good atmosphere.”

Ale went on to discuss how much of a difference it makes to have tens of thousands of Spurs supporters cheering you on.

“It makes a lot of a difference. It really gives you a lot more energy. I love having loads of people there and hearing the crowd. It’s what you dream of when you’re little, so for it to happen when you’re playing a game is amazing. I just love the feeling of it. It’s just insane.”

Ale is no stranger to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, having made her debut for the Club there against Arsenal last season.

“Yes, it was in an open friendly last season,” she said. “I came on at the end and it was really good. The pitch is so nice. We played a few times there last season. The food for the supporters is amazing too, which is something for them to look forward to as well!"
