When it comes to captivating team talks and life advice, Dejan Kulusevski believes Ange Postecoglou is the best he’s ever worked with.

Our Head Coach’s ability to motivate the players on a matchday has been well-received amongst the group, with Dejan admitting the Australian’s choice words at half-time when we were trailing Manchester City created a mentality shift that sparked the dramatic comeback to eventually draw 3-3.

Not only that, but the forward also sheds a light on how the valuable life lessons learned under the Head Coach has created a positive atmosphere in the squad, producing a desire within the players to work not just for each other but for the collective goal of making improvements and growing as a team.

Speaking in an exclusive interview in the matchday programme for tonight’s derby clash against West Ham United (8.15pm UK), Deki explained: “His team talks have been very good. I like people that speak and are motivational but he's on the top level. He's number one in terms of telling stories and getting us motivated for the games.

“We learn a lot about life and as players we share a similar outlook on how it should be lived and that you should respect everybody. Every time he speaks, it's fun to sit and enjoy whatever he's going to say. He's the sort of coach who makes you want to work hard and it’s a pleasure to work with him.”
