Fans joining us at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday for the Women’s Super League north London derby are in for a treat, with a host of activities taking place before the main event gets underway on the pitch – including appearances from our brand new signing Shaung Wang and teenage singing sensation Freya Skye.
Experienced Chinese international star Shuang will officially join us on 1 January, but she’s set to be in attendance at Saturday’s game and will be introduced in front of the live crowd around 20 minutes before kick-off.
Spurs fan Freya will also be performing before the game as part of Chirpy and Lily’s Parade and again at half-time – make sure you’re in your seat to enjoy her performances!
In addition to the match against Arsenal, which kicks-off at 12noon, and the appearances from Shuang and Freya, there’ll be a giant snow globe photo opportunity on Park Lane Square outside the stadium, plus a Grow Football coaching session at N17 Arena.
Once you’re inside, there’ll be festive fun on the general admission concourses with face painters, freestylers, balloon modellers, Spurs Santa and Chirpy and Lily on hand, plus giveaways of candy canes and flags to wave in support of Robert Vilahamn’s side and in the stadium bowl itself, Radio 1 DJ Jess Iszatt will be on the decks.
In the premium areas, there will also be stilt walkers, a photobooth and a Christmas selfie platform.
Plus, our official matchday programme will be on sale from several points in and around the stadium. Don’t miss Saturday’s edition with captain Bethany England on the front cover – there’s a main feature interview with Bethany inside, plus the return of our annual ‘My First Spurs Christmas’ feature where we enjoy an in-depth chat with some of our new recruits from the last year to find out about their festive traditions. Robert Vilahamn also shares his thoughts in his exclusive programme column, Eveliina Summanen discusses speaking Finnish and Swedish in our regular ‘Watch Your Language’ feature, plus there’s stats, photos, fixtures, results and more.
A limited number of matchday programmes from our WSL clash with Manchester United will also be on sale in the Spurs Shop at the Tottenham Experience for those supporters who missed out on a copy last week. A reminder that all of our matchday programmes can also be purchased online here.
Tickets for Saturday’s match are still available – order online now and make sure you get to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium early for what’s set to be a superb day of festive fun!
