Ange Postecoglou reports ‘no other issues’ apart from our long-term injuries ahead of Sunday’s Premier League opener at Brentford (2pm).

New arrival Micky van de Ven is available, but Rodrigo Bentancur, Fraser Forster, Bryan Gil, Ryan Sessegnon and Alfie Whiteman all miss out.

Speaking to SPURSPLAY after training, Ange told us: “There are no real other issues. In the last two games, everyone has got through in decent shape. We had a couple of little knocks, but nothing that’s going to keep anyone out of the weekend.”

Asked in his pre-match press conference about Richarlison’s fitness, Ange replied: “Richarlison is fit. There are no issues with him. He didn't play against Shakhtar, but he was never going to, to be honest. We were always going to play two different 11s and he picked up a slight knock in training. He got through the Barca game really well.”

Asked about team news in general, Ange said: “We’ve got some long termers who won’t be available but everyone who played in the last two games against Shakthar Donetsk and Barcelona, apart from some minor knocks, trained today. There is no-one who will miss out from the guys who have been involved recently.”
