Erik ten Hag is targeting an improved away record from his United side this season - starting at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday (5.30pm).
United were as strong as ever as ten Hag took the team to third place in the Premier League in his first season last term, 2022/23 - one loss in their 19 matches, winning 15 and conceding just 10 goals.
However, their away form was a marked contrast with eight losses in 19, scoring 22 goals and ending with a -11 goal difference.
Asked in his pre-match press conference if that was something he was looking to put right, ten Hag responded: "Well, this is one of the aims we have for this season, that we have to step up in away games to get more points, to bring higher levels, because that is the foundation, of course, for more points. So, it's often to do with personality. So, yeah, that's the demand from me on the players and that we have to show more personality on the pitch to win such games, and to get more points in away games."
