Maddison in England squad

James Maddison has been called up to Gareth Southgate's first England squad of the 2023/24 campaign.

The midfielder is in the squad for the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier against Ukraine taking place in Wroclaw, Poland on Saturday week (9 September, 5pm) and the 150th Anniversary Heritage Match against Scotland at Hampden Park on Tuesday 12 September (7.45pm).

Capped three times by the Three Lions, the last a start in the 4-0 win against Malta in Euro 2024 qualifying on 16 June, 'Madders' has been in fine form since his summer arrival from Leicester City with his first Spurs goal in our 2-0 win at Bournemouth on Saturday and two assists on his debut at Brentford.
