Cristian Stellini has confirmed that Cristian Romero remains sidelined alongside Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison for our UEFA Champions League Group D decider against Olympique de Marseille on Tuesday evening (8pm UK).

Antonio Conte’s assistant, Cristian carried out our media duties with Antonio suspended for the match and gave SPURSPLAY an update from pitchside at the impressive Stade Veldrome on Monday evening.

He told us: “The only news is that Cuti Romero is not available for the match tomorrow. We are sorry, but it is what it is. We have other players available, we have a good squad and we are well prepared to play a tough game, a knockout game like tomorrow.”

It will mean central defender Cuti will have missed three of our last four matches. Deki, injured on international duty with Sweden in September, has been laid low with a muscle issue for our last nine matches while Richarlison, who picked up a calf injury against Everton on 15 October, has missed our last four.

Speaking earlier in his pre-match press conference, Cristian reported: “We have not available Kulusevski, Richarlison and Romero. The other players are available to play the match.”
