Becky Spencer, Angharad James, Drew Spence, Rosella Ayane and Shelina Zadorsky were recognised in front of our fans at Sunday’s Barclays Women's Super League fixture against Liverpool.

Before kick-off, Club legend Gary Mabbutt presented the players with flowers to acknowledge their impressive achievements and milestones.

Becky, an ever-present between the sticks since the league’s inception in 2011, achieved a landmark 100 WSL appearances in our away match at the King Power Stadium last month.

Wales’ FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign came to a heartbreaking end last week with a narrow loss to Switzerland, but it was a night to remember for 28-year-old Angharad, who became the youngest Welsh player – men’s or women’s - to reach 100 caps.

Over the summer, Shelina, Becky, Drew and Rosella made important contributions as their countries earned a place at next year’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Shelina’s Canada and Becky and Drew’s Jamaica reached the semi-final stages of CONCACAF, returning home with a silver medal and bronze medals respectively. Rosella made history with her home country, Morocco, when she scored the winning penalty to send them through to their first ever African Cup of Nations final.

Congratulations to Becky, Angharad, Drew, Rosella and Shelina.
