Go green for your team - represent Spurs in The Planet League Cup!

We are excited to announce that we are participating in The Planet League Cup – a football and sustainability tournament inspiring schools and families to act on climate change.

The Planet League Cup, Britain’s Biggest Climate Action Football Campaign, uses football-themed challenges to encourage more sustainable behaviours among football fans in school, at work and at home – all in the name of their favourite team.

Kicking off on 10 October, fans will be able to represent Spurs and score ‘goals’ for their club by completing planet-saving activities. The tournament runs for five weeks, with each week focusing on a different theme such as food, energy or travel.

After each week, the Club with the most goals will be awarded 35 points, with second place receiving 31 points, third place 27 points and so on. The Club with the most points at the end of the tournament will be awarded The Planet League Cup.

There are over 60 activities for participants to choose from including having a meat-free family meal, unplugging your electrical appliances, taking shorter showers and walking to school. Not forgetting, ‘No Moura Landfill’ which is an activity inspired by our own Lucas Moura, encouraging participants to complete keepie uppies with a recyclable item before kicking it into a recycling bin.

Prizes are up for grabs including a family Stadium Tour voucher for our ‘Player of the Season’, so make sure you go green for your team!
