Information for fans travelling to Anfield on Saturday

Supporters making the trip to Merseyside for our Premier League fixture against Liverpool on Saturday evening should be aware of the following information...

A reminder that we kick-off at 7.45pm, with gates opening at 5.45pm.

Supporters are asked to take particular note of the information regarding the unauthorised use of tickets which can be found below. Supporters without tickets should not travel to the stadium.

Getting to Anfield

Anfield is a two-mile journey from Lime Street station for supporters arriving by train. A dedicated matchday team will be based in the station to direct supporters to the most convenient transport services.

Taxis are available from the station and the accessible 917 bus service operates from Commutation Row in the city centre, direct to Anfield. More information on the 917 service can be found here. Supporters using the post-match 917 service are advised it departs from Walton Lane rather than the pre-match drop off point.

Supporters travelling to Liverpool by car are advised that there is minimal parking available near the stadium. Liverpool FC recommend using city centre pay and display car parks and public transport to reach the stadium. Parking enforcement measures will be in operation around the stadium which is in a residential area.

For up to date travel information on the day of the game, supporters are advised to follow the Matchday Merseyside Police Twitter account @MerPolLFC.

Entrance to the stadium

The visitors’ section is located in Blocks 121-124 of the Anfield Road stand and can be entered via Turnstiles N, O and P. The stadium opens at 5.45pm.

Supporters are advised that due to stadium redevelopment works there is no access to the visitors’ section via Arkles Lane. Supporters must approach Anfield Road from the direction of 97 Avenue, which is behind the Main Stand.

Supporters walking up Arkles Lane from coach parking or from the Arkles Pub will be directed to use Dahlia Walk, through Stanley Park to 97 Avenue. More information can be found on the map below.

Supporters are asked to allow enough time for any necessary security checks which may include random searches.

After the match supporters will be asked to turn left out of the stadium toward 97 Avenue.

Disabled supporters can enter the stadium via Gate DA3a on Anfield Road, approaching from 97 Avenue rather than Arkles Lane.

Wheelchair-using supporters are not able to access the concourses for refreshments. In-seat service for food and drinks can be ordered here.

Accessible toilets are available and supporters without their own RADAR key will be able to request one from a steward.

Disabled Supporter Assistants will be present in accessible viewing areas along with Tottenham Hotspur Access Stewards should any support be required.

Visitors’ seating area

Anfield is an all-seater stadium. Due to persistent standing, seats with rails have been installed in a number of rows at the rear of the visitors’ section. This area is not a designated safe standing area and supporters are asked to remain seated for the majority of the match.

Bag Policy

In general, no bags are permitted at Anfield. Small bags of A5 size (148mm x 210mm) or smaller with essential personal items such as medicines or hygiene products are permitted.

There are no bag storage facilities at the stadium and supporters are encouraged to leave bags at home.

All bags will be subject to a search on entry to the stadium.

Visiting supporters' pub

Visiting supporters are welcome at The Arkles on the corner of Arkles Lane and Anfield Road, which is a short walk from the visitors’ section.

Ticket Office

Supporters collecting tickets can do so from the Main Ticket Office, located outside The Kop stand, which is opposite the Anfield Road stand. Duplicate tickets must be requested by emailing ticket.office@tottenhamhotspur.com and will only be provided on production of valid photo ID.

Refreshments

Kiosks in the visitors’ section will be serving food as well as alcoholic and soft drinks.

Cashless payments

Anfield is a cashless venue. All major debit and credit cards are accepted.

Flags and banners

Flags and banners under 2x1m are permitted in the visitors’ section, providing their flagpole is less than 7mm in diameter and less than 1m long. Flags larger than 2x1m are permitted providing they have an accompanying fire safety certificate.

Flags must be checked prior to entry and must not contain any offensive, discriminatory, defamatory or inflammatory (including politically motivated or nationalistic) content.

Supporters are also reminded of the Club’s own Flags & Banners Policy which is in effect at away matches.

Spurs Respects

We are proud of our superb and loyal support at home and away.

We recognise that most supporters want to watch a football match and not listen to abusive or indecent language from the stands. Discriminatory behaviour, including racist, homophobic, sexist or anti-disability shouting, chanting or actions, is unacceptable.

If you witness incidents like these, please report them to your nearest steward.

The Club reserves the right to indefinitely ban supporters found guilty of using discriminatory language.

Unauthorised use of tickets

Supporters are reminded that the unauthorised reselling or passing on of tickets is strictly prohibited. In line with the Club's Sanctions & Banning Policy, supporters selling away match tickets above face value will receive an indefinite ban and deduction of all Ticketing Points. Supporters passing on away match tickets equal to face value or less will receive a written warning and a 50% reduction of Ticketing Points.

Supporters unable to attend

Supporters unable to attend the match should contact the Ticket Office as soon as possible. The Club shall make best endeavours to reallocate tickets to other eligible supporters and issue refunds upon receipt of originally issued tickets.
