Spurs team-mates So-hyun Cho and Kyah Simon are set for a Sunday showdown in the quarter-finals of the Women's Asian Cup in India.
The pair featured in the final group matches of the tournament on Thursday. Cho played a full shift as South Korea scored a late equaliser against Japan in Pune. The 1-1 final scoreline meant Japan topped Group C on goal difference, and means second-placed South Korea will now face Kyah's Australia in the last eight.
Kyah came off the bench for the start of the second half as the Matildas made it three wins in three to top Group B with a late 2-1 victory against Thailand in Mumbai. Kyah set up the second goal for Sam Kerr, controlling a switch of play on the left and a cross that was spilled into the path of Kerr to finish.
All three of our players are into the quarter-finals with Jiali Tang's China taking on Vietnam.
