Rebecca Spencer made a number of impressive saves during Sunday's game against Reading in the Women's Super League, but was disappointed for the team to come away from the Select Car Leasing Stadium with a 1-0 loss.

"We show what we're about week in, week out, and I think now we've got to just stick together and trust the process that we're on," she said. "We know we're a good footballing team, we've just got to keep seeing it through until the end.

"Unfortunately we couldn't get a goal today, but we know that we can't start games like that and we need to keep believing in ourselves all the way through.

"I was just doing my job and, moving forward, I hopefully don't have to make as many saves in a game. It's just about converting as well, and I think we showed good character towards the end of the game.

"Something we pride ourselves on is never giving up and there were good and bad bits in the team performance but I think we need to take the positives now moving into West Ham next week."

The Hammers visit Brisbane Road this Sunday for a 2pm kick-off in the WSL.

"We've got to start the game better and get our physical side up as well," Becky said. "That's the main thing and we've got to stick it out until the end."
