Stamford Bridge hasn't been the happiest of hunting grounds for us over the years, but that hasn't stopped us scoring some memorable goals at Chelsea - here are five of the best...

06.03.1982 - Glenn Hoddle - Chelsea 2-3 Spurs

We were fighting on all fronts when we travelled to Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup in March, 1982. Still in the title shake-up (we were fifth, with games in hand), we'd already lost out to Liverpool in the League Cup Final and a month after this game, we'd face Barcelona in the semi-finals of the European Cup Winners' Cup. This was all about defending the FA Cup, though, and what a game at the Bridge. Trailing 1-0 at the break, three quick goals put us in charge just after the hour. Steve Archibald followed in Glenn Hoddle's free-kick for 1-1, Micky Hazard swept home from 20 yards for 3-1, but the second goal was a work of footballing art. Chris Hughton broke down our left and fed into Archibald, he backheeled into the path of Hazard who flicked the ball up and lobbed the ball to Hoddle, who controlled and zipped a half-volley into the bottom corner. Beautiful. We played 66 games that season, lost out against Barca, finished fourth in the league, but went on to retain the FA Cup after a replay win against QPR.

20.12.1986 - Clive Allen - Chelsea 0-2 Spurs

This win at the Bridge came in the middle of the 'so near, yet so far' 1986/87 campaign, where David Pleat's team reached the semi-finals of the League Cup, the FA Cup Final and finished third in the league, yet came away unrewarded. Firing us forward on all fronts, Clive Allen, who scored a Club record 49 goals in all competitions, and scored twice against Chelsea. His first, a superb finish after a move that swept from back to front, starting when goalkeeper Tony Parks threw the ball out to Danny Thomas at right-back. Thomas played up to Chris Waddle and looked for a return pass. Nigel Spackman stepped in, but Thomas continued his run and won the ball back. Glenn Hoddle took over, drew in two defenders and then backheeled into the path of Allen racing into the box, and he did the rest, controlling and rifling into the roof of the net. Clive later scored from close range to secure victory, making it 19 goals in 20 league games, 24 in all competitions - before Christmas!

08.05.2013 - Emmanuel Adebayor - Chelsea 2-2 Spurs

Inspired by some electric displays from Gareth Bale, the team was flying at the end of 2012/13 and travelled to Stamford Bridge on the back of a run of just two defeats in 19 matches in the Premier League stretching back to December. That run would continue with a 2-2 draw on a night Emmanuel Adebayor shone brightly in SW6. 'Ade' scored once and set up our equaliser as we came from behind twice to keep top four hopes alive. His goal was a beauty as well. Scott Parker and Lewis Holtby won the ball back as we broke from a Chelsea corner. Adebayor picked the ball up midway in our half and headed towards Chelsea's goal. Fifty yards later, no-one had gone near him, and he planted a curler over Petr Cech and into the top corner. Later, with 10 minutes remaining, Ade produced a sublime piece of skill to backheel Benoit Assou-Ekotto's pass into the path of Gylfi Sigurdsson, who picked out the bottom corner for 2-2. We went on to beat Stoke and Sunderland for a Club record points tally in the Premier League of 72 - but it was only good enough for fifth.

01.04.2018 - Christian Eriksen - Chelsea 1-3 Spurs

The day we finally broke our Stamford Bridge hoodoo - we'd last won there in 1990 - belonged to Dele Alli. Before that though, a wonderful strike from Christian Eriksen. As City ran away with the title, we travelled to SW6 sitting fourth, with Chelsea and Arsenal ready to pounce on any slips. Alvaro Morata headed home the opener for the hosts but we took charge from there and got back into the game with a slice of Danish magic. Chelsea had a warning minutes earlier with a dipping effort from Eriksen that troubled Willy Caballero. Then, just before the break, Dele did well to keep Eric Dier's cross alive, won the ball back from Victor Moses, Ben Davies rolled square to Eriksen who struck with perfection from 30 yards, the ball dipping just under the crossbar with Caballero motionless. The comeback was on...

01.04.2018 - Dele Alli - Chelsea 1-3 Spurs

It was Dele's day as we bossed the second half at the Bridge. Playing in a '10' position just off Heung-Min Son - Harry Kane was on his way back from injury, and on the bench - Dele combined with Eric Dier to put us ahead on 62 minutes before securing victory four minutes later. The second goal is the one we all remember, though, as Dier, starting in midfield, dropped a quarterback-style 50-yard pass into Dele's run. There was still plenty to do, however, but Dele killed the pass with one touch and in one motion, clipped the ball over Caballero with his second. Magnificent. The 3-1 win lifted us eight points clear of Chelsea with seven games remaining, and we went on to catch Liverpool to finish third on 77 points.
