AJ Tracey joins the fun at the Summer of Spurs Family Fun Day

AJ Tracey became the latest surprise guest to join the fun in N17 as one of the biggest grime/rap artists in the UK dropped into the Summer of Spurs Family Fun Day for an impromptu Q&A.

After taking part in series of football drills, the rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer joined Tottenham-based urban radio station Unity Xtra Radio on stage at the N17 Arena.

The lifelong Spurs fan told the crowd of youngsters about his trip to Seoul this summer to watch our men’s Korean pre-season tour matches and how much he was looking forward to watching Spurs in the UEFA Champions League this season.

This afternoon’s event was the first of two back-to-back family fun days to conclude Summer of Spurs, a range of activity delivered throughout August to keep young people in Tottenham engaged in positive activity during the school holidays, promoting health and well-being and reducing levels of crime and anti-social behaviour in the process.

In addition to the usual Summer of Spurs activities, including a range of football and multi-sport sessions, leading performing arts organisation, Ambassador Theatre Group, were on hand to bring the West End to Tottenham offering workshops on beatboxing, hip-hop, physicality and movement.

A range of street food from around the world was also available provided by businesses from across the local area.

Our activity concludes tomorrow with the final Family Fun Day at N17 Arena on Park Lane. The theme once again is ‘bringing the world to N17’ - celebrating the rich diversity and culture that exists in Tottenham through music, food, and dance.
