Spurs v NS Mura – how to watch, team news, key information

Thu 30 September 2021, 10:53|Tottenham Hotspur

We take on Slovenian side NS Mura for the first time ever this evening (Thursday 30 September, 8pm UK) in our second match in the group stage of the new UEFA Europa Conference League.

We came from behind to secure a point from a 2-2 draw at Stade Rennais on matchday one a fortnight ago, while Mura lost 2-0 at home to Vitesse. Since then, they’ve beaten Maribor – who we played in the Europa League in 2012 – and subsequently drawn back-to-back games in the Slovenian league.

Here’s all the key information you need to know ahead of the match...

Tonight’s match will be broadcast live in the UK on BT Sport 2, kick-off 8pm UK.

How will the teams line up?

Steven Bergwijn and Ryan Sessegnon remain sidelined through injury and won’t feature tonight.

Nuno Espirito Santo hinted at changes to his starting XI when he spoke to the media on Wednesday and also suggested he could bring some Development Squad players into the matchday squad.

“Sess and Stevie will not join the group. The rest of the squad is available. We will also bring in some Under-23s to help us, and we go for the game,” he told Spurs TV.

NS Mura could welcome back centre-half Matic Marusko after he was suspended against Vitesse on matchday one.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

Yigal Frid is tonight's match referee.

He’ll be assisted by Matityahu Yakobov and Omer Barbiro, with Daniel Bar Natan as the fourth official.

We’ll be in our traditional all-white European kit, with our goalkeeper in all green.

NS Mura will play in a black kit, with their keeper in pink.

How can I get the matchday programme?

Our official matchday programme will once again be on sale at the game, priced at the usual £3.50. It’s available from Tap Inn counters around the stadium and external pods situated at Paxton House, the South Podium, Park Lane Square and Worcester Avenue.

Those supporters not attending the match can order a copy online here, for delivery direct to your door.

Tonight’s issue includes a main feature interview with new signing Emerson Royal.

What will the weather be like?

It’ll be cloudy and breezy in north London this evening, with temperatures at around 15 degrees.
