Rehanne and Shelina up for FA WSL monthly awards

Rehanne Skinner and Shelina Zadorsky have been nominated for the Barclays FA Women’s Super League (WSL) first monthly awards of 2021/22.
Rehanne is shortlisted for September’s Manager of the Month while central defender Shelina is in the running for Player of the Month.
It’s been the perfect start for Rehanne and the squad in the WSL with three wins out of three and two clean sheets against Birmingham City, Manchester City and Reading to be second in the table. Shelina has helped marshal the defence through all three victories, all different, with the threat of City, discipline from Birmingham and Reading proving a tough nut to crack on Sunday.
Rehanne has guided us to our longest unbeaten spell in the WSL and she’s shortlisted alongside Aston Villa’s Carla Ward and Jonas Eidevall at Arsenal.
Shelina, meanwhile, is up against Samantha Kerr (Chelsea), Fran Kirby (Chelsea), Vivianne Miedema (Arsenal), Beth Mead (Arsenal), Remi Allen (Aston Villa) and Inessa Kaagman (Brighton and Hove Albion).
