Sat 16 October 2021, 23:32|Tottenham Hotspur

We return to Premier League action following the international break on Sunday with a trip to Newcastle United (kick-off 4.30pm UK).

As the Magpies begin a new era off the field, we’ll be looking to carry on where we left off earlier this month, having won our last two consecutive games against NS Mura and Aston Villa.

Here’s all you need to know ahead of the match at St James’ Park...

How will the teams line up?

Steven Bergwijn and Ben Davies have returned to training, but Ryan Sessegnon remains sidelined.

Nuno Espirito Santo will also make a late call on whether to include Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso, Davinson Sanchez and Emerson Royal after they returned from international duty in South America, having been a part of their respective nations’ fixtures overnight on Thursday and into the early hours of Friday morning.

Newcastle can call on Callum Wilson again after he missed their last four games with a thigh problem, while Jamaal Lascelles, Joe Willock and Jonjo Shelvey are also available following injury.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

Andre Marriner will referee the match on Sunday, assisted by Richard West and Scott Ledger.

Andy Madley will be the fourth official with Chris Kavanagh and assistant Dan Cook on VAR duties.

Newcastle will play in their usual black and white striped shirts with black shorts and socks.

We’ll be wearing our new third kit in the Premier League for the first time after its inaugural run-out in the Carabao Cup at Wolves – it features purple and green shirts with purple shorts and socks.

Newcastle’s goalkeeper will play in orange while ours will be in green.

What will the weather be like?

Its forecast to rain on Sunday morning in Newcastle, but conditions are expected to have dried up by the time the match starts, with light cloud and a gentle breeze at St James’ Park. Temperatures should be around 15 degrees.
