Information for our supporters making the trip to Colchester United for our pre-season friendly on Wednesday night.

A reminder that we kick-off at 7.45pm.

Entrances

Gates open at 6.30pm. Visiting supporters are located in the North Stand, in blocks N1-N5.

Tickets

Please be aware that no match tickets will be sold at the stadium on the day of the game. Supporters are advised not to travel without having purchased one in advance.

A limited number of tickets are still available and can be purchased HERE...

COVID-19 Declaration

Supporters who have purchased tickets have been sent a COVID-19 Declaration which must be completed prior to attending the match. Once the declaration has been accepted, match tickets will appear on supporters’ dashboards at www.ColUTickets.com.

Tickets can be printed or shown on a mobile device to gain entry to the stadium.

COVID-19 protocols

While mask wearing and social distancing are no longer mandatory, supporters are asked to show consideration and keep each other safe. Colchester United recommend that masks are worn in crowded spaces and when in close proximity to others, and that supporters keep a safe distance from others if possible.

Hand sanitisers will still be available around the stadium and their use is encouraged to minimise the spread of COVID-19.

Travel

By car, Colchester can be reached via the A12 coming out of London or from the M11/A120/A12 travelling from the north. The JobServe Community Stadium is off Junction 28 of the A12.

Directions to the JobServe Community Stadium

Please note, the shuttle bus service from the train station no longer operates.

Supporters travelling by train are recommended to catch a taxi from the train station, take the number 65 bus that stops just outside the stadium and is fully accessible, or walk to the stadium from the train station (approximately 30 minutes).

Parking

Parking in the stadium car park is available to book online for £6 per vehicle, but only if a match ticket has been purchased. This can be booked online at www.ColUTickets.com.

Allocated disabled parking is available at the same price but is in high demand, so advance booking is recommended.

As accessible match tickets can only be purchased via the phone, please call 01206 755161 if you have purchased an accessible match ticket and wish to purchase parking.

All parking at the stadium is a short distance from the away end.

Alternatively, there is parking available at the nearby Colchester Park & Ride car park at £3 per car. If parking here, please leave the car park via the exit next to McDonald’s and walk back along Boxted Road to reach the stadium. It can be found online at MiPermit.

Accessibility

The visitors’ section has three accessible toilets, two on the concourse and one on the viewing deck where supporters will watch the match from.

Cashless stadium

Please note that the JobServe Community Stadium is a cashless venue.

Refreshments

Refreshments will be available to the visiting supporters via outside catering units behind the away end. No concourse kiosks will be open for refreshments.

Supporters can bring their own soft drinks into the stadium but are reminded that alcohol cannot be brought in. Any supporter attempting to bring in alcohol will be refused entry or ejected.

Programmes

Programmes will be available from the Club Shop, which is also cashless.
