Spurs v Leeds – how to watch, team news, key information

Fri 01 January 2021, 17:30|Tottenham Hotspur

We kick-off the New Year with a home clash with Leeds United on Saturday lunchtime (kick-off 12.30pm UK).

It’s our first Premier League meeting with the Elland Road club since their relegation from the top flight in 2004, although we have met them on a couple of occasions in the FA Cup since then, beating them after a replay in 2010 but slipping to defeat three years later.

Ahead of the match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, here’s all you need to know...

How can I watch the game?

Saturday’s match will again be played behind closed doors, but is being broadcast live in the UK on BT Sport, kick-off 12.30pm. Live radio commentary will also be available on talkSPORT.

Full worldwide broadcast listings are available here.

You can also follow the action via our live Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app, with live text and audio commentary, goal alerts and stats at your fingertips.

Plus, don’t forget to tune in to N17 Live, our exclusive pre- and post-match show from inside the stadium for all the live build-up and reaction as it happens. It’s available to watch for free online, across social media and on the Spurs Official app from 11.45am UK.

How will the teams line up?

Jose Mourinho expects to have Brazilian duo Lucas Moura and Carlos Vinicius available for selection again.

Both players missed last weekend’s draw at Wolves and were not expected to have been available for the postponed midweek clash with Fulham.

However, Jose told us today (Friday): “In relation to the previous matches, Lucas and Vinicius should be back.”

Giovani Lo Celso and Gareth Bale remain out injured.

For Leeds, midfielder Mateusz Klich will be assessed over a thigh problem, while Liam Cooper (abdominal strain) and Diego Llorente (muscle problem) are doubtful.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

David Coote has been appointed referee for Saturday’s match.

Lee Betts and Nick Hopton will be his assistants, with Graham Scott as the fourth official.

We’ll be in our usual home kit, with our goalkeeper in orange.

Leeds will play in all maroon, with their keeper in bright green.

How can I get the matchday programme?

Once again, printed copies of our official matchday programme are available to order and have delivered direct to your door.
