Sheffield United v Spurs – how to watch, team news, key information

Sat 16 January 2021, 16:07|Tottenham Hotspur

We travel to face bottom side Sheffield United in the Premier League on Sunday (kick-off 2pm UK).

The Blades have collected just five points from their 18 games so far, although they did win their last match 1-0 at home to Newcastle on Tuesday.

Prior to that, they were victorious by the odd goal in five at Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup last weekend.

Ahead of the match, here’s our usual run-down of all the key information you need to know...

How can I watch the game?

Sunday’s match at Bramall Lane is being shown live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.

Kick-off was temporarily changed to 2.05pm last week for broadcast reasons, but has now reverted back to its original time of 2pm.

BBC Radio 5 Live will carry live commentary, as will our live Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app, where you can also enjoy live minute-by-minute text updates, goal alerts and stats.

Full worldwide broadcast listings are available here.

How will the teams line up?

Giovani Lo Celso is still sidelined through injury, although Steven Bergwijn could return after missing our last two matches because of illness.

Blades boss Chris Wilder expects to be without seven players for Sunday’s match, although he has not revealed who they are.

Sander Berge (toe) and Jack O'Connell (knee) are long-term absentees and Jack Robinson is set to remain sidelined.

Enda Stevens, Oli McBurnie and George Baldock will be assessed.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

Andre Marriner takes charge on Sunday, assisted by Richard West and Mark Scholes.

Robert Jones will be the fourth official.

Sheffield United will be in their usual red and white stripes, while we’ll play in our away kit, which consists of dark green shirts and socks with black shorts.

What will the weather be like?

There’ll be sunny intervals and a moderate breeze in Sheffield on Sunday, with temperatures forecast to be around six degrees at kick-off.
