Young fan: ‘I chatted with Hugo Lloris and Erik Lamela!’
One Hotspur Members join their heroes for our ‘Junior Fans Forum’ Zoom call

A group of lucky Junior Members were selected to join a special Q&A with Erik Lamela and Hugo Lloris recently.
Junior Member Thom Halliday, aged 15, describes the day in his own words with this special report:
“Myself and a few other fans were lucky enough to be involved in a private zoom meeting with our World Cup winning captain, Hugo Lloris, and our Argentinian midfield dynamo, Erik Lamela.
“The experience was something that highlights how much the fans mean to our players and club. The time taken by these guys to just answer a few questions put huge smiles on the faces of all the guys involved in the meeting and shows that Tottenham are a club that cares about its young supporters.
“I have been a Tottenham Hotspur fan since pretty much before I was born, as my Dad would never let me have supported anyone else! That said, I don’t regret it one bit. Along with my older brother (again a supporter from before birth), we have witnessed some incredible moments, such as beating Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, beating Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham numerous times, and not forgetting that incredible night in Amsterdam!
“From an early age we were in the stands at White Hart Lane and were always lucky to stay behind for autographs after the matches. This was always my favourite bit, seeing our heroes up close and actually speaking to them. It really was so exciting for lads of five and seven years old.
“A few visits to Wembley were not to be forgotten at all, but we finally made it into our new stadium which didn’t disappoint. The experience of just being in the atmosphere there is unbelievable.
“Even though this is my last season of being a Junior Spurs fan, I can honestly say, the thrills I have had are countless, and I cannot wait for the future and what it will hold for our great club!”
