Ledley, Mabbsy join us on N17 Live on Sunday!

Sat 14 August 2021, 08:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Two legendary former captains and current Club Ambassadors join us on N17 Live for Sunday's huge Premier League opener against Manchester City.

Ledley King and Gary Mabbutt are the very special guests on our popular matchday show as we face the champions at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Join host Ben Haines from the stadium at 3.45pm for the 4.30pm kick-off.

Ledley and 'Mabbsy' are two of the Club's all-time greats. Ledley progressed through our Academy system to lead the team from 2005 until his retirement in 2012. Making his debut in 1999, he played 323 matches for us and lifted the League Cup at Wembley in 2008.

Gary joined us from Bristol Rovers in the summer of 1982, made his debut in the Charity Shield that August and impressed so much, he'd made his full England debut within two months. He remains our second all-time appearance maker behind Steve Perryman on 611 and won the 1984 UEFA Cup before lifting the FA Cup at Wembley in 1991. He captained the team for 11 years, 1987-1998, and did it all as he balanced being a professional sportsman with the affects of type one diabetes.
