Teemu Tainio joins us on N17 Live this evening!

Wed 21 April 2021, 12:28|Tottenham Hotspur

League Cup winner in 2008 and boyhood Spurs fan Teemu Tainio is our special guest on N17 Live for this evening’s Premier League clash against Southampton.

It’s a 6pm kick-off at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, so set your watches for 5.15pm, when our popular pre-match show will kick-off with host Ben Haines. Club commentator Rob Daly will also be in the studio, providing his in-depth analysis of everything Spurs.

Brought up in Lapland, all-action midfielder Teemu lived the dream, playing for his first love Spurs when we signed him from French club Auxerre in 2005. A real character around the Club, he went on to make 83 appearances and help us lift the League Cup in 2008 before moving to Sunderland later that year.

After a career spanning 18 years, clubs in five different countries and 64 Finland caps, Teemu is now back in Finland as Head Coach of his first club, FC Haka.
