Thu 17 September 2020, 09:20|Tottenham Hotspur

Our foray into this season's UEFA Europa League begins today as we take on Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the second qualifying round in Bulgaria, kick-off 5pm UK.

Here’s a run-down of all the key information you need to know ahead of the game...

How can I watch the game?

UEFA Europa League qualifiers are taking place behind closed doors due to the worldwide pandemic.

In the UK, Premier Sports have acquired the rights to broadcast all Europa League qualifying matches involving Spurs this season, subject to our progression in the tournament.

Coverage of this evening’s match begins on Premier Sports 2 at 4.55pm.

Premier Sports is available via Sky, Virgin TV and the Premier Player. New customers can take advantage of a special introductory offer by signing up for just £9.99 for the first two months on Sky and the Premier Player, using the case-sensitive promo code SPURS.

More information, along with a list of international broadcasters covering tonight’s game, can be found here.

You can also follow the action during the game on Club channels via our live Match Centre, complete with live text and audio commentary, goal alerts and stats. The Match Centre is available on the Spurs Official app and here on tottenhamhotspur.com.

How will the teams line up?

Jose Mourinho revealed on Wednesday that Giovani Lo Celso is available for the match after missing our season opener against Everton at the weekend through injury.

Japhet Tanganga is out with a thigh problem, while Jose reported that Serge Aurier has taken a small knock in training.

The Head Coach revealed in his pre-match press conference that he has left eight players in London, although Harry Kane has travelled to Bulgaria and Jose expects him to feature.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

The match officials for tonight’s game are from Germany – referee Harm Osmers is joined by assistants Dominik Schaal and Robert Kempter, with Robert Schröder serving as the fourth official.

Our new yellow 2020/21 third kit, now available to buy in the Spurs Shop, is set to be used in a match for the first time this evening.

Lokomotiv Plovdiv will be in black and white shirts with white shorts and socks.

What will the weather be like?

Bright sunshine is forecast in Plovdiv today, with temperatures rising to 29 degrees.

How will the match be decided?

It’s a single-leg tie, so we must have a winner this evening, with extra time and penalties coming into play if required to decide who goes through to next week’s third qualifying round.

Whoever emerges victorious will be away to either Romanian side FC Botoşani or KF Shkëndija of Macedonia next week.
