Information for fans travelling to Watford

Thu 16 January 2020, 14:55|Tottenham Hotspur

Watford have provided a guide for visiting supporters with information on travel, facilities and assistance available ahead of our Premier League clash at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

We recommend that all supporters attending the match read the guide via the link below before departing for Watford. A reminder that kick-off is at 12.30pm.

Entrance to the stadium

Visiting supporters are located in the Vicarage Road Stand, entering via turnstiles 15-20. Turnstiles will open at 11am. In order to meet their security obligations, Watford advise that supporters arrive no later than 45 minutes before kick-off to avoid any potential delays. All supporters will be searched prior to entry into the ground.

Alcohol will not be served in the away supporters’ section of the stadium, as a result of the limited concourse space.

Accessibility

Watford’s Access Statement, including details of their Changing Places facility and Sensory Room can be found via the link below.

Travel - Watford Junction station

Supporters travelling by train should note that due to upgrade works at Watford Junction station, no lifts will be in operation. More information can be found via Network Rail - link below.

Remembering Graham Taylor

To mark the third anniversary of Graham Taylors’s passing, Watford supporters will create a sea of scarves at Vicarage Road. Watford would like to invite all Spurs fans to join in by raising a scarf above their heads when the teams come out before the match, and also to applaud the former Watford, Villa and England manager on 72 minutes. To ensure the pre-match display is as impressive as possible, Watford politely request all supporters are in their seats by 12.20pm.

Designated pub for visiting supporters

The Oddfellows is designated for visiting supporters and can be found at:

Vicarage Roadies

The Vicarage Roadies are a team of volunteer Watford supporters who meet and greet supporters on matchdays. They will be present and offering assistance on the approaches to the stadium and at an information point in the north east corner of the stadium.

Bag policy

Supporters are asked to avoid bringing large bags as they may not be allowed into the stadium. A bag drop is available and anyone wishing to use it should contact vrseventstaff@watford.com to seek permission to store a bag on the day of the match.
