Internationals - assist for Eriksen, shutout for Sanchez

Christian Eriksen supplied the assist as Yussuf Poulsen fired Denmark to a late win over Switzerland in Euro 2020 qualifying on Saturday.

Midfielder Christian played the full 90 minutes in Copenhagen as the Danes found an 84th-minute breakthrough.

The result puts them level with Republic of Ireland on 12 points at the top of Group D. Switzerland are four points behind but have a game in hand.

Davinson Sanchez was also in action on Saturday in the first of two friendlies Colombia are playing on European soil during the international break.

Davinson helped to keep a clean sheet as Colombia drew 0-0 with Chile in Alicante, playing the full game at centre-half.

Elsewhere in Spain, young midfielder Paris Maghoma had a hand in England Under-19s’ fourth goal as they rounded off their two-match Marbella Cup campaign with a 4-2 victory over Belgium. Paris stepped off the bench and saw his free-kick finished off by Bobby Duncan as England completed the scoring.
