Our Under-23s have been drawn at home to Dinamo Zagreb in the quarter-finals of the Premier League International Cup.

Wayne Burnett’s side progressed to the last eight after topping Group C with seven points out of nine, while Zagreb were runners-up to Southampton in Group A.

This is our third campaign in the competition, which gives Development Squads from Premier League clubs the chance to test themselves against some of the top reserve sides from across Europe.

We sealed top spot in our group last week after winning a nine-goal thriller against Athletic Bilbao 5-4. We also drew 2-2 at Norwich City and beat VfL Wolfsburg 2-1 at Stevenage.

Zagreb lost 1-0 to Southampton in their group stage opener before a 2-0 win over West Ham and a 4-1 victory over FC Porto.

A date for our fixture will be confirmed in due course.
