As we look ahead to Thursday’s decisive second leg of our Carabao Cup tie with Chelsea, we should like to again remind our fans of the importance of arriving early.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm and we strongly recommend that supporters start to make their way into the stadium as close to turnstiles opening (90 minutes before kick-off) as they can, to guarantee not missing any of the action.

As a reminder from previous visits to Stamford Bridge, enhanced security measures will be in place and our supporters will have to pass through the following checks prior to entering the stadium:
- Pre-entry ticket checks
- Body and bag search
- Electronic ticket scan
- Entry through turnstile

Chelsea also wish to remind our fans that during these procedures it may be necessary to temporarily hold supporters at cordon points in order to achieve a safe and steady flow through to the turnstiles. Supporters are asked to avoid bringing bags where possible.

Local derby matches are always passionate affairs and it is important that supporters play their part on these occasions by getting behind the team in a positive way and making them memorable for the right reasons.

The Club does not tolerate discrimination of any sort, on the pitch or in the stands, and both the police and ourselves shall take action against anyone behaving or using language that is abusive, offensive or obscene.

Should you witness any such behaviour, please report this to the Club. Our safety team and stewards will be present at Thursday's game in the away end all wearing high-vis yellow jackets with our stadium brand identity clearly visible on them who you can notify or, alternatively, you can message us on 07537 404821.

For our staff, it is better to monitor the problem as it is happening so we ask that you raise any issues with us as soon as they happen in order for us to deal with them promptly.

You do not have to put up with mindless supporters who are intent on ruining your experience with us – use the system, report the individuals and let us take it from there. We will treat any information in the strictest confidence.

We hope all those who are travelling to Stamford Bridge on Thursday have an enjoyable evening.
