Heung-Min Son is expecting a huge battle today as we take on high-flying Wolves at Molineux (kick-off 2pm).

We come into the game in fine form in the Premier League with a run of just one defeat in our last six outings in the competition. However, our opponents are also enjoying a very strong run in the top flight as they are unbeaten in their last 11 matches.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side had endured a slow start to the season having failed to win any of their first six games in the division, but with their last league defeat coming in the middle of September (a 5-2 loss to Chelsea) and with their Europa League progression sealed on Thursday night with a 4-0 win at home to Besiktas, the Wanderers are flying at the moment.

Sonny knows we will have to be at our best this afternoon if we are to return to north London with all three points – an outcome which would see us leapfrog the West Midlands outfit in the table.

I think it will be a really tough game for us, but it is up to us to get a result there.

“Wolves are having a fantastic season,” our number seven admitted. “Perhaps they didn’t start as well as they would have liked but, at the moment, they are doing very well.

“Of course, we’re going away from home, so we have to be ready for another fight in another important game. I think it will be a really tough game for us, but it is up to us to get a result there.

“Football seems so easy (when you are winning games) but we have had to put in a lot of work to get our recent wins in the league.

"Wolves are currently a point ahead of us and we want that to change this weekend. We will need to be physically ready but also mentally prepared for the match as well. We need to go there with a winning mentality. We are going there to fight and to win."
