Under-19s to face RB Leipzig, PSG and FC Midtjylland in Germany

Our young players have travelled to Germany to take part in the Under-19 Oberndorf tournament over the weekend.

Returning for the second straight year, we’ve been drawn in Group B alongside RB Leipzig, Paris Saint-Germain and Danish side FC Midtjylland.

It represents the latest high-quality tournament campaign for our Academy stars as we build up to the start of the 2019/20 season.

Last summer we finished third and were named ‘Best Attacking Team of the Tournament.’

Liverpool are also taking part – they’ve been placed into Group A along with SC Freiburg, last year’s winners FC Schalke 04 and Grêmio Porto Alegre of Brazil.

The top two teams from each group qualify for the semi-finals. Group stage matches take place across Friday and Saturday, with the knockout stages being held on Sunday.

Friday 2 August, 2019 – Spurs v RB Leipzig – 5.30pm local time
Saturday 3 August, 2019 – PSG v Spurs – 10.30am local time
Saturday 3 August, 2019 – Spurs v FC Midtjylland – 3pm local time
Sunday 4 August, 2019 – Knockout stage fixtures
