Information for fans travelling to Arsenal

Thu 29 August 2019, 15:50|Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal advise our supporters to arrive as early as possible for Sunday's Premier League match at the Emirates. Kick-off is 4.30pm and away turnstiles will open at 2.30pm.

Our supporters are also advised not to drive to this fixture.

Arsenal's guide for visiting fans is here...

Travelling to the Emirates

Arsenal strongly advise supporters not to drive to the Emirates. The ground is situated in a mainly residential area with an extensive Event Day Parking Scheme in operation. Only car owners with residents' permits will be allowed to park on-street in the designated areas - any cars parked illegally will be towed away.

Tube and rail

King’s Cross is the main connecting station for national rail and many underground lines.

The following stations are within a 15-minute walk of Emirates Stadium:
- Arsenal (Piccadilly Line)
- Finsbury Park (Victoria Line, Piccadilly Line, Great Northern Rail)
- Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line, North London Line, Great Northern Rail)

Please note that Holloway Road station will be exit-only before and after Arsenal first-team matches, with pre-match eastbound trains not stopping. Drayton Park is closed on matchdays.

Arsenal recommend that supporters use the Transport for London twitter account @Tfl or website https://tfl.gov.uk/ for transport updates. There are some partial closures on the Underground but there are no planned works on either the Piccadilly or Victoria lines which serve the main stations around the Emirates.

If supporters are travelling by National Rail services we would recommend using the National Rail website in case of any problems.

Here is a full travel guide...

Arrive early/security

Arsenal advise our fans to arrive as early as possible ahead of the 4.30pm kick-off on Sunday. Away turnstiles will open two hours before kick-off, 2.30pm. Stewards are on the perimeter of the stadium (bridges and steps) to perform a cursory check of bags. Outside the turnstiles stewards will search by way of a full pat down body search.

Bags

Arsenal encourage supporters not to bring a bag and only essential items. Maximum bag size is 16.5” x 12” x 6”, (a small laptop bag). All bags are searched and tagged prior to entry. There will be a barrier system in place to filter supporters into the search lanes.

There are no ‘left luggage’ facilities at Emirates Stadium. The nearest left luggage facilities are at King's Cross station.
