Tue 04 September 2018, 09:51|Tottenham Hotspur

Kyle Walker-Peters, Anthony Georgiou and Tariq Hinds joined Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice for their annual sports day at Ark John Keats School in Enfield.

Children in the care of North London’s only ‘hospice at home’ service and their families took part in sports such as basketball, flag football, boccia and football skittles, before competing in traditional relay races which were delivered by staff from the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.

The players joined in with the relay races and offered words of encouragement to participants before presenting medals and certificates.

Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice is the Club’s Official Charity Partner and supports children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions across North London.

Our partnerships helps to raise awareness drive the recruitment of volunteers via high profile events and the support of our players, coaching staff and Ambassadors.

Kyle said: “It’s been great to meet so many families who are supported by Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice and hearing how the charity helps them. Social events such as these are important as they give families the chance to spend quality time together and create lasting memories, so it’s fantastic that we can support such a worthy cause.”

Aga, mum of Wiktor and Borys, who both are supported by Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, said: “Noah’s Ark’s sports day is one of the highlights of our year.

"It was fantastic to see both of my boys so engaged with the activities and having fun together. They loved meeting the Spurs players and taking part in the relay races with them.

"I don’t think I’ve seen them laugh and smile so much!"

Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice has begun construction of The Ark, a children’s hospice building to serve North and Central London, which is due to open to families in spring 2019.
