Wed 12 September 2018, 11:44|Tottenham Hotspur

The last of the international fixtures involving our players took place in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday), with Davinson Sanchez and Cameron Carter-Vickers both in action.

Young central defender Cameron, currently on loan at Swansea City, played a full 90 minutes and helped to keep a clean sheet in a 1-0 home victory for USA against Mexico.

The friendly, held at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, was opened up after Mexico’s Angel Zaldivar was sent off in the 67th minute. Tyler Adams scored the only goal of the game shortly after.

Fellow defender Davinson also enjoyed a clean sheet and completed the full 90 minutes in Colombia’s friendly match against Argentina at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The match ended in a 0-0 draw, with Davinson putting in an impressive performance.
