On-loan Samuel Shashoua was on target again for Atlético Baleares last weekend, as he continues an impressive start to life in Majorca.

After scoring his first goal for the Spanish Segunda División B side last month, the 19-year-old added to his tally when he netted the winner on 64 minutes as Baleares grabbed a 2-1 victory over Ontinyent CF on Sunday.

The attacking midfielder has been a regular starter for his loan club over the last few weeks and featured against Barcelona B earlier in October.

Midfielder Josh Onomah has also enjoyed a bright month on loan at Championship side Sheffield Wednesday after starting and grabbing assists against both West Brom and Bristol City, as the Owls picked up four points in as many days prior to the international break. An unused substitute in a 2-1 home defeat by Middlesbrough last Friday, Josh then started again on Tuesday night, but he could not prevent his side from slipping to a 3-0 defeat at Queens Park Rangers.

It was a much more enjoyable evening for Cameron Carter-Vickers in the same division on Tuesday, however, as the central defender came into the side after a few weeks on the bench and played the full 90 minutes for Swansea City in their 3-1 victory at home to Blackburn Rovers.

Meanwhile, Marcus Edwards has continued his bright start to his loan spell with Excelsior Rotterdam in the Netherlands, the attacking midfielder starting the last six games in all competitions for the Eredivisie side and playing 86 minutes on Saturday as they secured a 2-0 home win over Vitesse Arnhem.

Elsewhere, Connor Ogilvie made his first appearance since coming back from injury and his third of the season for Gillingham on Saturday, coming on in the 56th minute of the Kent club’s 3-3 draw at Doncaster Rovers. The left-back was on the bench for the midweek 3-1 defeat at Plymouth Argyle.
