May international fixtures for our players

Sat 19 May 2018, 10:52|Tottenham Hotspur

The international action for our players this summer gets underway as early as tomorrow (Sunday), when young winger Anthony Georgiou will hope to feature for Cyprus in a friendly match away to Jordan.

Anthony will be aiming to win his second senior international cap, having made his debut in March’s goalless draw with Montenegro.

His development squad team-mate Jack Roles, meanwhile, is with Cyprus Under-21s ahead of their friendly away to Russia.

This week, young defender TJ Eyoma travelled with England Under-18s to the Panda Cup in China, with proceedings getting underway for the Young Lions against Uruguay on Wednesday 23 May. On Friday, Kyle Walker-Peters was named in the England Under-21s squad for the annual Maurice Revello Tournament in Toulon, which kicks-off against China on Saturday 26 May.

Ben Davies and Wales face Mexico in a friendly in Pasadena, California, in the early hours of Tuesday 29 May, while the pre-tournament friendlies for our players heading to the World Cup get underway at the end of May with Hugo Lloris and France hosting Republic of Ireland on Monday 28 May and Heung-Min Son’s South Korea taking on Honduras earlier that day.

Elsewhere, Kenya are due to face Swaziland and Equatorial Guinea in friendly matches before the end of the month while the USA are scheduled to face Bolivia, meaning Victor Wanyama and Cameron Carter-Vickers could be in action, although the squads for those outings are yet to be confirmed.

Here’s a run-down of our players’ fixtures in May, with June’s games, including those at the World Cup, to follow at a later date (all kick-off times are UK)…
