Advance notice of rail disruption affecting London Euston station
Fri 22 June 2018, 11:10|Tottenham Hotspur
Network Rail have provided us with advance warning of extensive engineering works in August that will affect supporters travelling on the West Coast Main Line in and out of London Euston station.
The closure will be in operation throughout the weekends of 18/19 August, 24/25 August and 1/2 September. Over these weekends, there will be no Virgin Trains or West Midlands Trains running between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central and no London Overground services between London Euston and Watford Junction. London Underground Bakerloo line services will terminate at Queen’s Park. A rail replacement bus service will be in operation between Milton Keynes Central and Stanmore station, linking to London Underground Jubilee Line services.
What this means for our fixtures:
Fulham (home) to be played at Wembley Stadium currently scheduled for 18 August. No Bakerloo or London Overground services will call at Wembley Central station. Please use alternative London Underground services at Wembley Park or Chiltern Rail services from Wembley Stadium station.
Manchester United (away) currently scheduled for 25 August. There will be no rail services in or out of London Euston. Please use alternative routes where possible. Network Rail have advised the best alternative route available will be using the Chiltern Line from London Marylebone to Birmingham Moor Street and then change for onward Virgin services to Manchester. A further alternative is via the East Coast Main Line to Leeds and then use Trans Pennine Services to Manchester. Please check ticket validity before travelling.
Watford (away) currently scheduled for 1 September. No rail services between London Euston and Watford Junction. Please use alternative London Underground services to Watford via the Metropolitan Line.
Please note that all fixtures remain subject to change.
