Five of our players paid a visit to Minnesota Vikings’ training facility in Minneapolis on Monday - and won the NFL/football challenge!
Ben Davies, Davinson Sanchez, Heung-Min Son, Michel Vorm and Kyle Walker-Peters took the trip out to the huge TCO Performance Center where they were met by five Vikings - quarterback Kirk Cousins, wide receiver Adam Thielen, running back Latavius Murray, safety Andrew Sendajo, tight end David Morgan and defensive end Everson Griffin.
One of the biggest names in the NFL, Kirk has been involved in one of the big moves in the close season, switching Washington Redskins for the Vikings.
The players were introduced to a crowd estimated at 5,000 to watch training and then it was down to the challenge.
Our players had to kick a field goal lined-up from the 20-metre line while the Vikings had to beat Michel from the penalty spot.

Michel, Davinson and Ben flew the Spurs flag by stroking all three field goals through the posts while Vikings only scored once from the spot, with Michel saving impressively from Latavius and particularly from Kirk.
The Spurs party were then taken on a tour of the facility as the Vikings continued their preparations for the start of the NFL season in September.
You can always learn from other sports
Ben said: “The training centre is incredible and it’s been fun to meet some of the Vikings’ players and get a chance to see them in action as well.
“You can always learn from other sports. These guys are incredibly professional and the detail and the strategies...they have to know exactly what they are doing in every play and need that intelligence to deliver exactly what the coach wants each time.
